Super Busy Week!

Wow, what a busy week it’s been in Chestnut class this week. We’ve been swimming on Tuesday, took part in a football competition on Wednesday, went cycling on Thursday and this morning we did a silly dance in our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thank you to everybody who donated to Macmillan. Then we did a super tasty science lesson learning all about what a balanced diet is and how we keep a balanced diet. The children made a tasty fruit salad which they then ate.

To top off our week, everybody got 20/20 on our starblazer chart this week and therefore we won the moon shop ticket! ⭐

Well done for having a super week Chestnut Class! 🙂👌

Hope everybody has a lovely restful weekend

How animals grow

This morning chestnut class have been learning all about animals and their babies. We have learnt the names of animal babies and what they look like and we have also been looking at the difference between the babies and the adult animals. We did some writing on what we saw that was different, for example a piglet has a straight tail and a pig has a curly tail. Chestnut class were fantastic at this activity and worked together well to help each other. Well done chestnut class!
